Visited here for a meal with a friend on a Sunday afternoon. The menu had a variety of dishes and some vegetarian options. I had the burger which was tasty with a nice tomato relish and pickle. The chunky chips were great too. My partner had the beetroot and goats cheese pizza which he found disappointing due to the dough being tougher than expected. My friend had the ribs which was a great portion size and he said were delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was a bit lacking, some music would have lifted the place. The glass my drink was served on was quite old and felt a bit grubby. The chairs and decor all seemed quite tired and in need of a refresh. Overall a nice meal but could just be polished a bit more around the edges.

Popped in here for an early (toddler) dinner on a Sunday evening from visiting Greys Court. Food was lovely and menu a really good selection including allergen info and good gluten-free options. Kids menu also good. However the loss of a 5 star rating is for these god awful stairs - absolutely ruined the look of the courtyard, God knows how they got planning permission to do that, such a shame. Felt a bit like dining under the fire escape out back. Nearby activities: Greys Court national trust

We have eaten here a few times and it’s always really good food and not overpriced. Last night we had the best calamari we have ever had anywhere there, really soft and tasty. Really would recommend Tuesday steak night as well - very tasty generous portion and great value for money.

An inn with a very extensive set of open rooms for dinning and drinking plus plenty of outdoor seating. I couldn't explain the reason, but it has a very hotel smell. Limited selection of drinks. Good chips. The inn is located on the high of the village, not far from some pleasant hiking trails in the beautiful nearby mixed forests. Bar service was adequate. Walkability: Accessible by foot from the rest of the village Food & drinks: Chips are good. Limited selection of beers

Just here on a secret escapes weekend. The pub is situated in the village of Nettlebed. The Pub is lovely it's very nice , staff are excellent and beer is fairly priced . So far the food both evening meal ( chateaubriand) and breakfast have both been fab. Things I don't like . Low doorframe heights ... but its a very old building and I have now remembered to duck. Car park registration. You are required to re register every 24 hours its madness they know I'm here for the weekend. Otherwise cannot fault its been lovely . Pub is also within easy access by road or public transport to Henley upon Thames.

Came in on a Saturday night at 8:40pm ordered drinks….first off “we don’t do cocktails” Okay fine, barman served the drinks Hendricks and tonic but “sorry no cucumber.” Okay school boy error but hey ho. Then went to order some food and the young lad prodceeded to tell us “The kitchen is closed”. HOWEVER Then spent the next 30minutes watching all the food continuously being served. We then checked on their website and it said kitchen/food served till 9pm……! We visit a few times a month for dinner and/or drinks. Sadly won’t be back. Furthermore for the record, if the barman or waiting staff tell you to input your registration number for the parking, that would enable the White Hart to return to looking and feeling like a pub rather than visiting DVLA SWANSEA. Seriously! 🤦🏼‍♂️

Very nice old pub with space to sit outside. Not much else around it though. Great food and very good service with friendly staff. Nice room with big shower and roll top bath. The only let down was the busy main road right outside our window which was very noisy. If you had a room on the other side would have been quieter. Overall nice visit.
